I decide to study the wafer switches on the schematic in hopes of identifying the components that might be responsible for the failure of the AM band. I’ve always found wafer switches intimidating and impossible to fully understand especially in multi-band radios. I have little faith that I’ll do any better with these but I’m hoping a concerted effort with the schematic will payoff with some new insights into the wafer switches in this radio and future radios too.
