I’ve finally got my SOLAR hot water Pre-Heater in place and functioning. The new 120 Degree thermostat from Missouri Wind and Solar seems to be working well. I am pleased with its performance.

The system isn’t quite 100%, yet. But, it’s almost there. I still need to beef up a wire or two, and add a 15A circuit breaker to protect/disconnect the heating element. Also, and unfortunately, the two SOLAR array’s on my roof are facing West. This far North, that’s a problem. So, I’ll have to consider permanently installing additional panels on the South wall. That might actually be a good idea during the Winter when the sun is low to the horizon AND there is snow covering the panels on the roof.
