    With the Breaker ID, you don’t have to shut off power to the entire house, or go through trial-an-error, accidentally shutting off things you don’t want to. A vital tool for both homeowners and contractors, the Breaker ID finds the right circuit breaker every time.

    The Breaker ID has two parts: a transmitter that plugs into a circuit via a standard outlet, and sends a signal down the wire connecting that circuit, and a receiver wand which is used to scan the circuit breaker panel.

    Simply plug the transmitter into an electrical outlet and then scan your circuit breaker panel twice to identify which breaker operates that outlet. During the first scan, the Breaker ID may indicate more than one breaker as it memorizes each circuit, but on the second scan, the Breaker ID will identify the correct circuit breaker with a green LED light and audio tone.

    * Easy 1-person operation
    * Scan for easy identification and labeling of all breakers
    * Finds breakers faster and more efficiently with no accidental shutoffs
    * Automatic calibration
    * Lights and audio indicate circuit location
    * Units snap together for storage

    Caution: Do not rely exclusively on scanners to locate objects behind a scanned surface. Some objects may not be detectable by your scanner. Use additional information sources such as visible points of entry of pipes and wiring into walls, standard 16” and 24” (41 – 61 cm) stud spacing practices, and construction plans to determine the likely location of hidden objects. Always use caution before drilling or cutting.

    WARNING: ALWAYS TURN OFF THE ELECTRIC, GAS, AND WATER SUPPLIES BEFORE PENETRATING A SURFACE. NEVER ASSUME THERE ARE NO LIVE ELECTRICAL WIRES IN A WALL. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE, SERIOUS INJURY, AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

    I found a nice 12 volt hydraulic pump at the scrap yard and also a quick teardown of a hydraulic gear motor.
