In this video, I show how to properly wire an ammeter (amp gauge) with a shunt. Shunts are devices that tone down the amperage in a known ratio so that the ammeter can safely measure the amperage without the internal circuitry frying. These devices usually do not come with directions so I thought I would take some time and show you the proper way so you can avoid mistakes like I made.
